Unblock request
[edit]66.249.93.185 (block log • active blocks • global blocks • contribs • deleted contribs • filter log • creation log • change block settings • unblock • checkuser (log))
Request reason:
Caught by an open proxy block but this host or IP is not an open proxy. --- I am using a mobile device on the provider "Giff Gaff" (who use the O2 network) in the UK. This IP will be assigned randomly to many different people. Please unblock. 66.249.93.191 (talk) 13:44, 16 November 2014 (UTC)
Decline reason:
The IP address you're using has been blocked, because it acts like a proxy server. While we could grant you IP Block Exemption, this would only be done if there was an actual need for you to edit from this IP address. PhilKnight (talk) 04:30, 17 November 2014 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
- here's more information. I visit the wikipedia article about "Collard Greens" using the mobile site. That is buggy and doesn't show ant article text. Here's a screenshot (chrome on iOS) http://imgur.com/MresNRv I think that I should try to let someone know so I visit http://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Wikipedia_talk:Editor_assistance/Requests to ask for help to correct this bug. I can't ask there; the account is blocked. The block message tells me to place a template on my talk page. The talk pages for IP editors are not linked to from anywhere that I can find - you should probably find a way to link to the talk page in the block notice -. I finally find how to get to the talk page for this ip address and place the unblock request template, which will hopefully remove the block which will hopefully allow me to bring the problems of the collard greens mobile-version article to the attention of someone who can fix it. Thanks for your help! 66.249.93.191 (talk) 13:44, 16 November 2014 (UTC)
This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
