Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, adding content without citing a reliable source, as you did to Thursday, is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you are familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources, please take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you.Jeepday (talk) 14:37, 25 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed content from List of unaccredited institutions of higher learning. When removing text, please specify a reason in the edit summary and discuss edits that are likely to be controversial on the article's talk page. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the text has been restored, as you can see from the page history. If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make the edit, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Not so vulgar after all

[edit]

Hi, I reverted your edit to kale. Rape kale is a fairly common cultivar. The name may sound a bit odd, but there is nothing vulgar about it (compare: rapeseed). Thanks for being on the lookout though! Martijn Hoekstra (talk) 15:34, 5 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Help me!

[edit]

Hi, I am trying to link to an email address on my company wiki page. When I click on the link, part of the address is cut off in the outlook email. I believe the problem is the fact that the email has an '&' character in it, since when I take the & symbol out the email works fine. I was wondering if there is a way to fix this, so that for example an email such as example&test@gmail.com would work in outlook. Thanks!

Greetings, @Adam3243: I don't think adding an email address to a company page is really useful or necessary. Also, if you are editing the article of your company (or a company you are affiliated with) you ought to read WP:COI; editing articles about topics one is affiliated with can create problems. Jo-Jo Eumerus (talk) 11:48, 18 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, sorry I wasn't clear. The page I am editing is part of my company's internal wiki, not the public Wikipedia. Adam3243 (talk) 12:00, 18 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Oh. In this case, Wikipedia:Reference desk/Computing would be the right place, maybe. I have some doubts though. Jo-Jo Eumerus (talk) 12:11, 18 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Ok thanks for the help! Adam3243 (talk) 12:19, 18 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
