Request reason:

Dear Mighty Wikipedia People, I feel that this block is unfair because of the shared IP address. I admit to trolling the system I was bored, so I am completely guilty, but I am also very sorry. It is not fair to ban the entire place from editing because of one stupid person (myself) I realise other people do troll these pages but some people do make useful comments. Please give us a chance and you might find that people may make useful contributions

Decline reason:

Then you should sit by the computer and personally apologize to anyone who tries to edit Wikipedia from this ip until the block expires. That will give you time to reflect on the wisdom of trolling and the collateral damage caused to others by your thoughtless actions. Beeblebrox (talk) 18:15, 15 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

But nobody can edit it. Please reinstate our editing privileges, there are people here who want to edit things normally. Or at least make the block not last as long! It's a whole year...

Decline reason:

Yes, it's the encyclopedia that anyone can edit, not that anyone can vandalize. You're at a school: you get educated on what's wrong and right. Unfortunately, the silliness of a a few people are preventing editing anonymously by an entire school! Well done! Go home, or to the library, and sign up for your very own userid - this will allow you to edit properly, and all will be good. (talk→ BWilkins ←track) 17:20, 17 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

  • I'll leave this for another admin to review, but if you look at the block log for this ip, it is perfectly clear that numerous shorter blocks were issued in the past to try and stem the tide of vandalism, and every time the vandalism came right back after the block expired. This seems overdue to me. If vandalism returns after this block expires, you can expect the next one to be three years or more. Beeblebrox (talk) 17:16, 17 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
