[edit]Hello, I'm Doniago. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Philip Seymour Hoffman, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Hi Doniago, it's too bad you think you need a citation when it's a QUOTE from a live TV show. It's still accurate. Get over it. The citation will bubble up in due time, feel free to add it if you must.
- I recommend you review WP:RS to become familiar with reliable sources and WP:BURDEN. Put simply, you shouldn't be adding information if you can't provide a citation, and "it's a quote from a tv show" doesn't qualify. Also please stop adding the information without a source, as you are now edit-warring. Thank you. DonIago (talk) 03:55, 5 March 2018 (UTC)
Please do not add or change content, as you did at Philip Seymour Hoffman, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. DonIago (talk) 03:42, 5 March 2018 (UTC)

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. You appear to be repeatedly reverting or undoing other editors' contributions at Philip Seymour Hoffman. Although this may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is known as "edit warring" and is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, as it often creates animosity between editors. Instead of reverting, please discuss the situation with the editor(s) involved and try to reach a consensus on the talk page.
If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to be blocked from editing Wikipedia. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Edit warring on Wikipedia is not acceptable in any amount, and violating the three-revert rule is very likely to lead to a block. Thank you. DonIago (talk) 03:55, 5 March 2018 (UTC)

. - Your belligerence and insistence on adding unreferenced content even after a challenge is also unacceptable. Please correct your behavior once your block has expired. Cullen328 Let's discuss it 05:22, 5 March 2018 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm Yodas henchman. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person on Jeremy Stoppelman, but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now. Wikipedia has a very strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate and clear. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! Yodas henchman (talk) 04:05, 8 January 2022 (UTC)

This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
