[edit]Your recent editing history at Islam shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.
To avoid being blocked, instead of reverting please consider using the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection. Changes on Hinduism
[edit]Are you serious? Connecting Indus Valley civilization with Hinduism remains very controversial and is often claimed by Hindu nationalists without substantial evidence but how we can consider John Marshall, Gregory L. Possehl, and many others who consider Pashupati Seal as the depiction of Shiva to be Hindu nationalists? Bladesmulti (talk) 00:26, 10 December 2014 (UTC)
Gundestrup Cauldron also looks like the Indus River Valley seal it does not prove anything. There are many in the archaeological community who disagree and are skeptical about the theories of John Marshall and Gregory L. Possehl don't forget. 468SM (talk) 11:02, 10 December 2014 (UTC)
- Using Gundestrup Cauldron as an excuse is just irrelevant. We believe in citations, not your views. Tomorrow if you claim that World trade center looks like Taj Mahal, we will require reliable citations for that, and not your nonsensical view. See Wikipedia:Verify. Those who disagree with the view of majority that Pashupati Seal is depiction of Shiva also confirms that it is usually accepted. E.g., Herbert Sullivan who disagreed with Marshall says that Marshall theory "has been accepted almost universally and has greatly influenced scholarly understanding"... [1]. Speedy deletion nomination of Nawab Muhammad Bahadur Khanji
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Nawab Muhammad Bahadur Khanji requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. [edit]Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:
- Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
- With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.
This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.
