Orphaned non-free media (Image:HobartOlympic.gif)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:HobartOlympic.gif. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 05:44, 3 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Metropolitana di Napoli

[edit]

While I can't speak for the whole project, I think this is a pretty good-looking article, and it wouldn't be too hard to make it B-class (though making it a good or featured article would take some work). The prose needs some editing and some general cleanup, and some of the lists need to be either converted into prose (such as in Planned improvements and expansion) or explained better in the prose section (such as the Metro Lines list, which is a great list but needs some prose to tie it together). I also think the History section needs a little more info; for example, statements such as "During the fascist era of 1922 to 1939, much enhancement work was done to railways in Naples." do not explain what work was done. It's a pretty good article overall though, and none of these problems is too serious to be fixed with some work. TheCatalyst31 ReactionCreation 18:35, 2 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Infobox Holland

[edit]

I liked your idea to put an infobox on the Holland article. I think that showing the data of both provinces combined in one province-type infobox is OK.

What I do not understand, considering that you seem to be a well established editor with a sophisticated user page, is that you abandon the work you started while it is still in miserable condition. Did you you take a look at the result of your edit? It showed source code text instead of an image! It was far from showing the most relevant data, etc. I see that your work has been reverted in the meantime. Well, in view of the quality, that is certainly no surprise.

Are you up for a thorough restart of this work? If you like in your or my sandbox... Tomeasy T C 12:46, 15 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I have placed the infobox in my sandbox. Would be nice if we could fix this together. Tomeasy T C 17:01, 19 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I am not sure why the change is needed. The Lego logo and information is fine on the Lego page, its about Lego logo and product name. If you are trying to change or add new information. Please check the 'Lego Group' page on Wikipedia. (GoTLG)
