Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Logo Lfarne1.gif

[edit]

Thank you for uploading Image:Logo Lfarne1.gif. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this image under "fair use" may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the image description page and add or clarify the reason why the image qualifies for fair use. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a fair use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for images used under the fair use policy require both a copyright tag and a fair use rationale.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it might be deleted by adminstrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 13:39, 8 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Tassie mountains

[edit]

Good to see you were thanking ozhiker as well - (at least you are more clear and specific with your message) -it is a real breakthrough - did you checkout the map and tags as well? I am very impressed - but cannot add more than the refs that are there already at this stage SatuSuro 14:46, 13 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

What are you like on info about the central highlands? I have diverted articles to the council article as there is I dont think there is an article that specifically attends to the ecological/mountain/geography thing about the region? - cheers SatuSuro 13:43, 14 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for very thorough reply - you must be involved with milhist :) - your bio details intrigue me but i wont interroagte at this point (ah the helicopters i almost had an opportunity while working for mt lyell - but thats another thread another time - one of my neighbours used to work for the hydro and get helicoptered in as a surveyor in the 70's for the king project - it wasnt till i took my children in a hired plane from strahan up and down the west coast range almost 25 years after living there that i got my chance...) - i used to live in the west coast mid 70's and have huge range of material book form on hand (even though i live in perth, wa) - have been trying to very slowly develop west coast material (am easily distracted - too many threads) - but increasingly have found very stub like items for other parts of the island - so all this aside I think I need to either double check there isnt already one - or create a geog of central highlands art and trawl my available material ( I go back every couple of years or so - friends on west coast and east coast still) to help out. Thanks again - thanks for the articles - and yes some of my articles on the west coast havent been touched for over a year by anyone a relief compared to some regions of wikipedia - thanks again - hope to meet your excellent stubs again soon SatuSuro 14:03, 14 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Very impressed by the referred to article - well that was no excellent stub - that was an excellent GA! - a well deserved ga that one! - hope to meet up again as we get the mountains covered ( I must find that obscure central highland or plateau material i know i have ) - cheers and thanks for the info SatuSuro 14:23, 14 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks

Hey hope we get a response - even if it is the dog sitting in the corner scratching itself. It all brings back the memory of the time i spent sitting with a broken down car at bronte waiting to get picked up by a queenie person with car trailer many many many years ago. We might need to take the message to the austrileian project noticeboard - I waited a year (?) for a response to the tone/pov issue at lake pedder from memory :( SatuSuro 00:58, 23 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Good work with the Tas project :) I do hope to help at some future point, although these Queensland local government amalgamations have taken up a lot of my Wiki time of late. Orderinchaos 22:05, 30 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
