Image Copyright problem
Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading Image:WnclVicSpirits.gif. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 15:00, 1 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Unilogo.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Unilogo.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 02:28, 12 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Aussies in Korea

[edit]

The article's been approved so it should get a DYK without a problem, but if someone thinks it's important enough they might tweak the hook a bit as they promote it, that's all. It's really up to you whether or not you want to tweak it yourself, or provide an alt hook. Gatoclass (talk) 10:19, 21 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Military history of Australia during the Korean War

[edit]
Updated DYK query On 24 February, 2008, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article Military history of Australia during the Korean War, which you created or substantially expanded. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the Did you know? talk page.

Battle of Pakchon

[edit]

I take it you are a principal author of Military history of Australia during the Korean War, which got my attention because of the DYK. You asked on my talk page "Which section in Battle of Pakchon was copyright vio?? I am happy to re-write the relevant section in the new article i wrote if neccessary?". To respond, i just commented in Talk: Battle of Pakchon, pointing out just one example of plagiarism/copyright violation. I am inclined to think the entire Battle of Pakchon article, which lacks in-line citations, is plagiarised, so it would be best to delete it all. Hope this helps. doncram (talk) 16:08, 26 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Your section on Battle of Pakchon within Military history of Australia during the Korean War probably should cite the Butler account. Currently, i think your section has no sources, and relies implicitly on the "main article" Battle of Pakchon, which might be fine except that is a plagiarized/copyvio article. doncram (talk) 16:31, 26 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
