Speedy deletion nomination of User:3ICEHockey/sandbox
[edit]A tag has been placed on your user page, User:3ICEHockey/sandbox, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be advertising which only promotes or publicises someone or something. Promotional editing of any kind is not permitted, whether it be promotion of a person, company, product, group, service, belief, or anything else. This is a violation of our policies regarding acceptable use of user pages — user pages are intended for active editors of Wikipedia to communicate with one another as part of the process of creating encyclopedic content, and should not be mistaken for free webhosting resources or advertising space. Please read the guidelines on spam, the guidelines on user pages, and, especially, our FAQ for Organizations.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Sulfurboy (talk) 22:49, 28 May 2020 (UTC)

[edit]If you intend to make useful contributions other than promoting your business or organisation, you may request an unblock. To do so, post the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}}
at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with a new username you are willing to use. See Special:CentralAuth to search for available usernames. Your new username will need to meet our username policy. Replace the text "Your reason here" with your reason to be unblocked. In that reason, you must:
- Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked.
- Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
{{unblock|Your reason here}}
at the bottom of your talk page, replace the text "Your reason here" with your reason for thinking that the block was an error, and publish the page. Request reason:
We understand Wikipedia’s guidelines and policy and we’re terribly sorry if we caused any problem. The reason given of why we were blocked is because of our name and advertising suspicions. The block doesn’t seem necessary due to the following evidences: We, 3ICEHockey, are a new hockey league, based in New York and our games start playing next summer/2021. We own the name, trademark, everything related to 3ICEHockey. Perhaps the information regards to the initial date to play sounded like an advertisement and if it’s need to be changed/removed, we have no problem of not informing this to our wikipedia page. We are a serious and reliable Hockey League with articles about us being published in notable sources such as CBS, NBC, USA Today, SportNet, and such. We can also provide links for all of these articles, if necessary. Please, we would like to be unblocked and have access to edit those two concerns, as well as we would love to have our wikipedia published following all your guidelines. Once again, sorry for the misunderstandings, we look forward to be able to repair what’s it’s needed.
Decline reason:
I'm sorry, but I cannot unblock you at this time. Please read Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations To be unblocked:
- you must propose a new username that meets the username policy Please post the text
{{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}}
at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with a new username you are willing to use. See to check the availablility of usernames. Your new username will need to meet our username policy. Replace the text "Your reason here" with your reason to be unblocked. - you must confirm that this account is used by one individual only
- you must agree to avoid creating or directly editing pages related to your organisation (requested edits will still be permitted)
- you must agree to not link to your organization's website
- you must agree to abide by the Wikimedia Foundation's Terms of Use and disclose any paid relationship in accordance with the paid contributor policy
- you must indicate what areas of Wikipedia you intend to edit in the future
If you have no interest in editing Wikipedia beyond writing about your organization, then you will not be unblocked. If this is the case, I recommend you consider alternative outlets.
(Any other admin should feel free to amend these conditions or unblock at their discretion.) creffett (talk) 17:08, 9 June 2020 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
