Virgin Islands National Park

[edit]

I reverted your recent, extensive edits to Virgin Islands National Park.

Many were from copyrighted sources which is not permissible even if you provide a reference.

At least one was a copy from another Wikipedia article, which is permitted but it must be done correctly.

It might be the case that the material you added to Virgin Islands National Park was a useful addition to the article. I didn't check to see if it was. My main reason for undoing your edit is that when copying material within Wikipedia it must be done in a particular way to properly credit all contributors.--S Philbrick(Talk) 16:07, 8 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

The page is terribly incomplete and inaccurate. As I'm new, I would appreciate specific guidance. Can we remove specific issues and allow me to fix?

(sorry, missed adding this)
Please see Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia for the proper way to copy material within Wikipedia.--S Philbrick(Talk) 16:25, 8 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
The Wikipedia:Teahouse is also a great place to get specific advice on editing. (see invitation above).--S Philbrick(Talk) 16:27, 8 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Cyril E. King Airport, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Preclearance. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
