Welcome!
[edit]- Was it you that in reverting these edits justified doing so because what was "approved" was the official title? You do realise that you are wrong and that the style is merely what has been I imagine by practice used in the past that with the growing styles of such articles obviously throw in confusion.2605:E000:9149:A600:34D8:EC05:8EC2:B095 (talk) 04:43, 4 August 2018 (UTC)
- There is no confusion by the wording of the article header, and you were reverted by a few editors. If you want a mass change of policy, you'll need to start a discussion and get consensus, otherwise editors will likely continuously revert those edits. - Unfortunately you are confused about the details by arguing one point for what is not the point. Have you looked at what title is used to publish the honours lists in the official record? Have you looked at what WP entitles those articles. Have you looked at how those article titles are represented in WP text references. There are three different styles? Seems rather foolish to argue one point when you ignore the facts. And to continue this discussion seems rather foolish with my time because as it has been said in the past by other influential WP editors WP is [not] an environment of innovation.2605:E000:9149:A600:34D8:EC05:8EC2:B095 (talk) 05:27, 4 August 2018 (UTC)

[edit]Please stop your disruptive editing.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant notice boards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at John Toothill (industrialist), you may be blocked from editing. Your edit history is showing a severe amount of disruptive editing that will almost all need to be reverted. I'd suggest visiting the tea house to learn about editing Wikipedia. - If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.
- You are going to have to clarify yourself. If you wish to make an issue of Nford24 then you are barking up the wrong tree. That is not a matter of histility but a matter of differences aboiut the facts. What conflict is there with John Toothill?2605:E000:9149:A600:34D8:EC05:8EC2:B095 (talk) 08:09, 4 August 2018 (UTC)
- Are you crazy? What type of disruotive editing can threre be with the clarification that a cn is needed?2605:E000:9149:A600:34D8:EC05:8EC2:B095 (talk) 08:10, 4 August 2018 (UTC)
- In this edit you removed a reference and replaced it by a cn tag. That does appear disruptive. Can you explain why you did it? Maproom (talk) 13:06, 4 August 2018 (UTC)
