Why did you change womxn back to women.
[edit]The event's name is Womxn's March on Seattle, not Women's March on Seattle. It was not vandalism. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.198.164.225 (talk) 03:06, 14 October 2020 (UTC)
- 24.198.164.225 It was redundant, since the spelling you refer to is mention in the net sentence. 2601:200:E:F73F:916:F929:535F:84C5 (talk) 03:08, 14 October 2020 (UTC)
- Yes, but: first of all, 24.198's edit was certainly not vandalism and we shouldn't label it that; second, IMO it's better to correctly spell the event's name (especially when the spelling was deliberately chosen) and eat the redundancy than avoid it; third, the *best* solution is to rework the sentence so that we can spell the event's name correctly *and* remove the redundancy, which I've done, hoepfully without the language becoming too clumsy. Cheers, all. Writ Keeper ⚇♔ 03:52, 14 October 2020 (UTC)
Thank you! :-)
[edit]Hi there! Thanks for removing that vandalism from Wikipedia:Edit filter/False positives/Rolling archive. I just wanted to leave you a message and let you know that I appreciate it very much. Keep up the great work, and I hope you have an excellent day! :-) ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 07:31, 14 October 2020 (UTC)
This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
