Continuing our dispute
[edit]I'd like continue our dispute here, so we do not disturb other user. First of all, both Stefan and Hubert were designed and written to be polar opposites of each other, so it makes sense to describe them with antonyms, in this case "soft-spoken" and "loud". Stefan had his moments of anger, but in general he's far more composed and soft-spoken than Hubert, so it makes sense to describe him in a way that reflects his general personality traits. Besides, "debonair" can be used in different meanings, and not all of them fit this character. Secondly, the plot section is meant to succinctly describe the plot of the film as it is, there is no need to look for hidden messages just to add them here. Thirdly, just a few weeks ago the article underwent a copy edit from the Guild of Copy Editors to correct all possible grammatical errors, so your opinion about the grammar in the article is rather subjective. Personally, I think your variant of one of sentences is unnecessarily elaborate, while the meaning is still the same. Finally, like I've said so many times, Bob Thomas and his book ARE reliable sources because of their close connection to the Disney studio and the production of Sleeping Beauty. Just because it did not mention Hans Conried as a potential choice for the role does not mean you should immediately debunk it as a "myth" or "misconception". There IS a difference between a false statement or simply insufficient specification. I'm glad you found confirmation of the information about Conried's involvement in the casting process for the film, but why did it take you so long to present it? I read the comments on this page and I see that you found it around the same time it was published. Also, why couldn't you just add it to the page as a properly designed source? That way, this whole dispute would never have happened. I will add this information now, but please try to be more responsive next time and be prepared to provide proper sources, not just speculation. De Disney (talk) 18:55, 31 October 2023 (UTC)
