[edit]Hello, I'm Laplorfill. I noticed that you made a comment on the page Carpet that didn't seem very civil, so it may have been removed. Wikipedia is built on collaboration, so it's one of our core principles to interact with one another in a polite and respectful manner. If you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Laplorfill (talk) 16:52, 27 May 2021 (UTC)
Please stop your disruptive editing.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant noticeboards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Carpet, you may be blocked from editing. What you said in this edit is unacceptable--not just because you say "bias" instead of "biased", but because that personal attack is not OK. Drmies (talk) 17:21, 27 May 2021 (UTC)
You sir are incorrect and how your feelings feel has nothing to do with the facts. I spent 20 years in the carpet industry and I know these things to be true and backed up by the EPA and the industries own data. So your opinion does not matter to me. Why? Because everyone in the industry knows this is true therefore u must not be, have been in the industry in any meaningful way, or stand to gain financially in some way.
So please stop editing contend you have 0 knowledge of or envolved in receiving some gain from. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2600:1005:B002:3512:7438:12EE:816B:8C3F (talk • contribs)
- The issue is not whether what you have written is true or not, it is whether you have the appropriate sources to allow readers to verify this material. Several independent editors have told you that currently, you do not. You should discuss this on the article talk page, not continue to force your preferred version into the article. Also, your repeated claims in edit summaries and above, that people who disagree with you are doing so for financial gain are as incorrect as they are utterly unfounded.
