Information icon Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

I noticed your recent edit to Thomas & Friends: Journey Beyond Sodor does not have an edit summary. You can use the edit summary field to explain your reasoning for an edit, or provide a description of what the edit changes. Summaries save time for other editors and reduce the chances your edit will be misunderstood. For some edits a summary may be quite brief.

Please provide an edit summary for every edit you make. With a Wikipedia account you can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → Tick Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. If you're going to make changes to (longstanding) existing dates, you need to at minimum explain why in the edit summary, and preferably provide a reliable/verifiable source. ButlerBlog (talk) 23:00, 13 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at Thomas & Friends (series 8), without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Mac Dreamstate (talk) 16:47, 16 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to blank out or remove portions of page content, templates, or other materials from Wikipedia without adequate explanation, as you did at Thomas & Friends: Journey Beyond Sodor, you may be blocked from editing. If you're going to remove content, you at minimum need a valid edit summary explaining it, or (better) discuss it on the article talk page. ButlerBlog (talk) 00:54, 17 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you remove or blank page content or templates from Wikipedia without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary, as you did at Sinkin' in the Bathtub. The cited source specifically supports that date you removed. If you're going to remove content that is cited, you need to (1) validate the information with the source, (2) explain your reason for removal and/or discuss on the article talk page. If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you vandalize Wikipedia. Bigeshjen (talk) 22:14, 18 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
