[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, discussion pages are meant to be a record of a discussion; deleting or editing legitimate comments, as you did at Talk:Transportation in Augusta, Georgia, is considered bad practice, even if you meant well. Even making spelling and grammatical corrections in others' comments is generally frowned upon, as it tends to irritate the users whose comments you are correcting. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Imzadi 1979 → 17:31, 13 September 2022 (UTC)
Washington Road
[edit]Regarding your edit summary, at the moment, Washington Road redirects to the section on Transportation in Augusta, Georgia, not the US 19 article. The August. If the US 19 article had more about its separate Washington Road, it might be desirable to create a disambiguation page that points two both with a more Washington Road (Georgia) redirect to the Augusta article. I'd be surprised if there weren't other roadways to list on such a disambiguation page, since U.S. Route 41 Business (Marquette, Michigan) followed a Washington Avenue. - Sorry about doing that, but you know that I can’t edit and create anything on that new article you just created, it will be nice of you or any named non ip Wikipedia editors can make that, also it will be nice of you turning (changing the name of the article) Washington Road of a US 19 article into Washington Road (Pennsylvania). Thanks 24.214.132.186 (talk) 22:55, 14 September 2022 (UTC)
Changing highway marker graphics
[edit]Please stop changing the highway markers in the the various infoboxes or other locations. It's just disruptive to do that all the time. Even if we've preferred the objective criterion of "longest" in choosing which ones to display, a more important consideration is stability. That means, just leave them alone, ok? This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
