Tips
  • Don't be afraid to edit. Just find something that can be improved and make it better. Other editors will help fix any mistakes you make.
  • It's normal to feel a little overwhelmed, but don't worry if you don't understand everything at first—it's fine to edit using common sense.
  • If an edit you make is reverted, you can discuss the issue at the article's talk page. Be civil, and don't restore the edit unless there is consensus.
  • Always use edit summaries to explain your changes.
  • When adding new content to an article, always include a citation to a reliable source.
  • If you wish to edit about a subject with which you are affiliated, read our conflict of interest guide and disclose your connection.
  • Your presence in the Wikipedia community is welcome.
You are welcome to continue editing anonymously, but you may want to create an account, since there are benefits.

Referencing

[edit]

Hello! I fixed your reference on Tuvalu as it was just a link instead of a citation. Please check out this page on how to reference with the visual editor. Thanks, OXYLYPSE (talk) 15:05, 22 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at General Electric GE90, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. BilCat (talk) 03:20, 3 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Boeing 777. Obligatory final warning. The sooner this ends, the better. ZLEA T\C 16:19, 5 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Boeing 777F

[edit]

This is not fine, as it still highly misleading. The aircraft is not "designated as 777-200LRF by some cargo airlines". "777-200LRF" is an unofficial name, not a designation. The aircraft's only designation is 777F or 777 Freighter, as no other designations have been defined by Boeing or the FAA. Plus, the "to distinguish from the after-market 777-300ERSF" part is WP:OR as it is not supported by the provided source. - ZLEA T\C 17:03, 5 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

And to clarify on AnonIPs parting comment on the AIV board - Repeated edits contrary to consensus, WP guidelines and policies constitutes WP:Disruptive Editing. Continued disruptive editing is indeed subject to sanction, up to, including and beyond blocks. As you are editing from multiple AnonIPs within a given range - it could even lead to a range block, as was indicated on the AIV board. --Picard's Facepalm Made It So Engage! 17:28, 5 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
