Information icon Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit you made to Peopling of India, [[:WP:PRIMARY]], and Genetics and archaeogenetics of South Asia, did not appear constructive and have been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.
I do not see why the edits were non-constructive. The edits basically summarize the content (which was also already suggested by previous studies such as Narasimhan et al. 2018.213.162.80.14 (talk) 10:01, 20 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
No, you misrepresented the sources. They don't say that "Dravidians were the native population of northern India, Pakistan and eastern Iran"; they say that "the ASI [...] most likely spoke an early Dravidian language." They don't say that "The population of the Indus Valley culture was of predominantly Dravidian origin"; they say that the IVC was a mix of AASI and Iranian farmer related ancestry. They don't say that "proto-Dravidians began to migrate and conquer other parts of India." Et cetera. Joshua Jonathan -Let's talk! 10:17, 20 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
