Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Agenor, duc de Gramont has been reverted.
Your edit here to Agenor, duc de Gramont was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline. The external link(s) you added or changed (http://www.angelfire.com/realm/gotha/gotha/gramont.html) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Information icon Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Prince Pierre, Duke of Valentinois. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include, but are not limited to, links to personal websites, links to websites with which you are affiliated (whether as a link in article text, or a citation in an article), and links that attract visitors to a website or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the page, please discuss it on the associated talk page rather than re-adding it.

[edit]

Please stop adding unreferenced or poorly referenced biographical content, especially if controversial, to articles or any other Wikipedia page, as you did at Blanchard Ryan. Content of this nature could be regarded as defamatory and is in violation of Wikipedia policy. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. MarnetteD|Talk 18:05, 20 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Bottom line: If you do not have a reliable source (not IMDb, not other Wikipedia articles) that can be used to verify the information that you are adding to articles, then you don't add the material. If you continue to do so despite the explanations and warnings as to how your edits violate Wikipedia policy, you will be blocked from editing in order to allow you the time to familiarize yourself with the relevant policies and guidelines.--Jezebel's Ponyobons mots 01:27, 21 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Long term abuse (Nov 2014 – Mar 2015)

[edit]

I have reverted all the edits made in the last few months. Unfortunatly it is obvious from article edited back in 2015 that have been edited more recently by sockpuppets of GMC:

that this IP address was probably used from November 2014 by GMC without detection until recently. -- PBS (talk) 09:56, 14 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there - Wikipedia relies on reliable sources to verify information, especially about living or recently deceased people. You didn't provide a source for your changes to the Lê Thụy Hải article, and I couldn't find one either. If you have a reliable source please let me know and we can change the article. Please let me know if you have any questions. GiantSnowman 11:45, 12 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

If he died aged 76, then he was born in 1945, and the situation in Vietnam was either one of those two. 213.141.15.42 (talk) 11:47, 12 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at Lê Thụy Hải, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you.
What if his 77th birthday was later this year? He will have been born in 1944. Also place of birth is not referenced either - he could have been born abroad. GiantSnowman 11:51, 12 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
You're absolutely right, I initially did the maths for him being 75 or 76 years old before I read in the article he was already 76 and I didn't correct my first assumption. 213.141.15.42 (talk) 11:54, 12 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

I noticed your recent edit to Intracranial aneurysm does not have an edit summary. Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.

Edit summary content is visible in:

Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. With a Wikipedia account you can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → Tick Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Thanks!--Renat 11:47, 14 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you. Sometimes they're so simple and self-evident that I don't mention any summary. 213.141.15.42 (talk) 11:53, 14 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Not in this case.--Renat 11:55, 14 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions, but in one of your recent edits to Roman Bunka, it appears that you have added original research, which is against Wikipedia's policies. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. Thank you. Dr.Pinsky (talk) 12:04, 14 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
