PDK (Kwaito Music Group)
[edit]The PDK music group is one of the top leading singing groups in Namibia . The group comprises of three artists namely Patrick, Deon and Kamutonyo by which Patrick Mwashindange is the lead singer.
The PDK music group has impressed the Namibian fans with their mouth watering tracks to such an extend that they won the Best Duo-Group category in the 2008 Sanlam NBC Music Awards. They have displayed their talent of producing music in their own language Oshiwambo and English aswel. They are now being ranked amongst the most popular artists like The Dogg and Gazza .
It was very unfortunate that the organisers of the Namibian Annual Music Awards (Namas)2012 made an error by not nominating the kwaito group PDK for any awards and that the SMS code published was in fact wrong.
At the moment they are enjoying their dominance in the Namibian music Industry , they had a plan to rock Africa from six years and now they can claim to have reached the stage. On their current latest album, Ondeya Natango is the first track on the album , which is a testimony that they have grown into matured men and are not boys anymore. It’s kind of a smooth Gospel music song with some Reggae tunes then comes Bangusa with some souk and a little bit of West African flavor.
As a matter of fact this music group has a very bright future of producing the best of kwaito music.
