Managing a conflict of interest

There is no conflict of interest as I am not contributing to articles about myself, my family, friends, company, organization or competitors. However, it would seem that various people who edit the pages are "competitors" with the religious group at hand.209.200.192.138 (talk)

Sure, whatever you say, boss. You have been adding, for weeks or more, trivial promotional details about these groups. Including vapid quotes or tid-bits to unduly implies a level of significance which is not supported by neutral, reliable sources. Wikipedia isn't a platform for promotion or advocacy, and coverage of topics should be proportional to reliable sources. Discuss proposed changed on the specific article's talk page. Your comment comes off as discriminatory and hate-based asserting "trivial promotional details" to "these groups", the meaning of which is unclear. Please try leaving your personal opinions and feelings out of editing on Wikipedia.209.200.192.138 (talk)

Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.
