When removing text, please specify a reason in the edit summary and discuss edits that are likely to be controversial on the article's talk page. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the text has been restored, as you can see from the page history. Information icon Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 20:55, 25 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

climate change, ARBCC, discretionary sanctions, and request for your list of RSs

[edit]

FYI, all articles that cover climate change "broadly defined" are subject to discretionary sanctions pursuant to the arbitration decision at WP:ARBCC. Disruptive editing and other no-nos can subject you to sanctions including blocks and bans. At Talk:climate change you have been making plenty of POV accusations but without articulating specific article improvement suggetions based on what wikipedia defines as reliable sources. You have been asked many times to list your reliable sources but you have not done so. Repeated failing to answer simple questions like this is one form of disruptive editing, which is explicitly prohibited by the arbitration ruling I cited above.

Would you please list your proposed RSs that support your statements at Talk:climate change? NewsAndEventsGuy (talk) 23:43, 27 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon This is your last warning. The next time you remove or blank page content or templates from Wikipedia, as you did at Talk:Global warming/FAQ, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. You have violated WP:3RR. Do not revert again without consensus. Gaba (talk) 00:17, 4 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.
Gaba_p (talk · contribs) before anyone files a 3RR there needs to be at least some effort at talk page discussion. The IP really should have done that after they were reverted the first time but nonetheless I have opened the thread at Talk:Global_warming#FAQ, scientists and money. Information icon Thank you for your contributions. It seems that you may have added public domain content to one or more Wikipedia articles, such as Government crowdsourcing. You are welcome to import appropriate public domain content to articles, but in order to meet the Wikipedia guideline on plagiarism, such content must be fully attributed. This requires not only acknowledging the source, but acknowledging that the source is copied. There are several methods to do this described at Wikipedia:Plagiarism#Public-domain sources, including the usage of an attribution template. Please make sure that any public domain content you have already imported is fully attributed. Thank you. — Diannaa (talk) 21:39, 18 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
