Please do not use low-quality sources

[edit]

Please do not add low quality sources as you did at Manu Munsi. Blogs, self-published items, genealogies and user-submitted content are not considered to be reliable sources for the encyclopedia. Netherzone (talk) 01:18, 13 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I have seen that you have reverted the changes done by me. This is to mention you that I have added some references to the article that were never self-published. Most of the online references added by me were from news paper named Anandabazar Patrika and a book available from google books and one authetic website named Arthive which contains so many biographies including Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo and so on, along with some offline references. I have never added any self-published sources like geneology. Yes, I agree that the external link was self-published. I have seen so many articles in wikipedia containing self-published links under external links, hence I added so. Now, I also would like to improve the entire article so that it can be improved and I would also like to work on the maintenance tags. Kindly cooperate me in doing so. 203.76.183.82 203.76.183.82 (talk) 04:48, 13 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hello, You added incomplete and incorrectly formatted unverifiable sources, verifiability is an essential core content policy on English Wikipedia to establish notability. Are there links available so the content can be verified? What about dates and page numbers? Netherzone (talk) 05:37, 13 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, now I got it. I will change accordingly. 203.76.183.82 (talk) 05:39, 13 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
