Amitabh Shah moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Amitabh Shah, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Hello 2020satiya. The nature of your edits, such as the one you made to Draft:Amitabh Shah, gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially egregious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat SEO.

Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:2020satiya. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=2020satiya|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. Sulfurboy (talk) 23:32, 21 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

As previously advised, your edits give the impression you have a financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. You were asked to cease editing until you responded by either stating that you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits, or by complying with the mandatory requirements under the Wikimedia Terms of Use that you disclose your employer, client and affiliation. Again, you can post such a disclosure on your user page at User:2020satiya, and the template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=2020satiya|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. Please respond before making any other edits to Wikipedia. Sulfurboy (talk) 23:51, 21 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I am a volunteer and not a paid employee. I am not paid for doing this or anything in the organization everything I do there is done voluntarily. If there is any option for that i will do that. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2020satiya (talkcontribs)
The policy states "Interns, on-loan staff, and unpaid workers, including volunteers, are deemed to be employees. If they are directed or expected to edit Wikipedia as part of their tasks, they must make a paid-contribution disclosure." --Drm310 🍁 (talk) 16:16, 23 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
{{paid|user=2020satiya|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}} how exactly can i add this tag? and where ? is there any detailed article for this? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2020satiya (talkcontribs)
I have taken the liberty of putting it on your user page (User:2020satiya) for you. That is its proper place.
Please remove the other content from your user page, and put it on this one. Your user page is a page for your paid editor declaration, and a place for you to talk briefly about yourself and your goals on Wikipedia. Discussion about specific issues should go on this page - which is called your user talk page - or on the talk page of the article in question.
Finally, please remember to sign your posts on talk pages (but never in articles) by typing four tilde characters (~~~~) at the end of your post. That will automatically insert your username with the date and time of your comments. It is important to include this so that everyone can see who wrote what, and when. --Drm310 🍁 (talk) 02:55, 24 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Notice

The article Amitabh Shah has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

This article was moved to draft space by a reviewer, and another copy was promptly inserted in article space. (That is the right of an auto-confirmed editor, but it is also the right of the community to challenge the inclusion of puffery in article space.) There is so much noise generated by the subject promoting himself that it is difficult to determine whether he has independent significant coverage that would establish biographical notability. Portions of this page are written in the first person. Much of this page contains marketing buzzspeak. The subject may or may not be notable, but this page just needs to be blown up and thrown away.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Your submission at Articles for creation: Duplicate: Amitabh Shah (May 22)

[edit]
Your recent article submission has been rejected. If you have further questions, you can ask at the Articles for creation help desk or use Wikipedia's real-time chat help. The reason left by Robert McClenon was: This submission is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia. The comment the reviewer left was:

This draft reads like an advertisement, but Wikipedia is not for advertising.

This draft has been Rejected by a reviewer in the Articles for Creation review process. DO NOT resubmit this draft or attempt to resubmit this draft or prepare or submit a draft that is substantially the same as this draft without discussing the reasons for the rejection. You may request a discussion with the rejecting reviewer, or you may request a discussion with the community at the Teahouse. A discussion will not necessarily agree to a resubmission. If this draft is resubmitted, or an attempt is made to resubmit this draft or an equivalent draft, without addressing the reasons for the Rejection, a topic-ban or a partial block may be requested against the submitting editor, and the draft may be nominated for deletion.

You may ask for advice about Rejection at the Teahouse.

There is no way to determine whether the subject satisfies biographical notability because of the noise of the promotion.

Information icon Please do not remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Yuva Unstoppable, without resolving the problem that the template refers to, or giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your removal of this template does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Thank you. Robert McClenon (talk) 01:26, 23 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add commentary, your own point of view, or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to Yuva Unstoppable. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. Thank you. Robert McClenon (talk) 23:19, 24 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Removal of paid declaration

[edit]

In your last edit to your user page ([1]), you removed the mandatory paid editing declaration. May I ask why you did this? I hope it was just a mistake. Please re-insert this line of code on the page: {{paid|user=2020satiya|employer=[[Yuva Unstoppable]]}}

Thank you. --Drm310 🍁 (talk) 15:04, 25 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I wanted to add contributions and other things to my user page i didn't see that there is a new tag added by you and just deleted everything from the page.
I will make my user page which will show people what things i am contributing to wikipedia.
So does that mean that you are not going to make any more edits to Yuva Unstoppable or topics related to it? Because if you do, that tag will have to be put back. It's possible that other editors might demand that you put it back regardless, because of your past edits.
A couple of other things. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:
  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment, or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button located above the edit window.
This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.
Also, when replying in a discussion thread, please indent your replies. This makes prolonged discussions easier to read and understand. --Drm310 🍁 (talk) 00:32, 27 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
