Australian aviators

[edit]

Hi there. You removed Category:Australian aviators from a bunch of articles without explanation. I've undone those changes. Could you explain your thought process? It's possible you did so because the articles are in the subcategory Category:Australian women aviators, but that is a non-diffusing category, meaning the articles should also be in the parent cat. Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did with this edit to Goat cheese. Wikipedia is not a collection of links nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links may include, but are not limited to, links to personal websites, links to websites with which you are affiliated and links that attract visitors to a website or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. mi1yT·C 03:44, 11 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to add soapboxing, promotional or advertising material to Wikipedia, as you did with this edit to Norfolk Island, you may be blocked from editing. mi1yT·C 04:07, 11 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you insert a spam link, as you did with this edit to Goat cheese. Persistent spammers may have their websites blacklisted, preventing anyone from linking to them from all Wikimedia sites as well as potentially being penalized by search engines. mi1yT·C 04:28, 11 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm HMSLavender. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Banana cake, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. lavender|(formerly HMSSolent)|lambast 03:28, 11 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

categories

[edit]

Information icon Before adding a category to an article, please make sure that the subject of the article really belongs in the category that you specified according to Wikipedia's categorization guidelines. The category being added must already exist, and must be supported by the article's verifiable content. Categories may be removed if they are deemed incorrect for the subject matter. Just because a word is mentioned in the article title does not mean that the article belongs in that category, for example Emu Brewery is not a type of emu, nor is EMU Australia.
