Stop icon This is your only warning; if you vandalize Wikipedia again, as you did at Joyce Laing (art therapist), you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Dr. Jamir Harber (talk) 07:45, 7 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The page as I found it said
"Laing saw a means of releasing creativity in long term psychiatric in-patients such as Angus McPhee (who did not speak for fifty years) but created woven grass art"
and since "who did not speak for fifty year" and "but created grass art" refer to the same person - Angus McPhee - I simply moved the closing parenthesis to link the two aspects of his description together. Take out the original parenthesised section (being able to do so is the whole point of parenthesis, as here) and you get
"Laing saw a means of releasing creativity in long term psychiatric in-patients such as Angus McPhee but created woven grass art"
which makes little sense and if anything suggests that Laing herself created the grass art. I fail to see how this could possibly count as vandalism. Perhaps you'd care to explain? 2001:8B0:A61C:C35A:199:858D:B2E4:5A04 (talk) 07:55, 7 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
