[edit]Hello, I'm Laterthanyouthink. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, COVID-19 protests in Australia, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Laterthanyouthink (talk) 04:46, 12 May 2022 (UTC)
Is this your hobby? Going around deleting changes? If you were acting in good faith you would have fixed any minor errors, instead you have broadly removed every contribution I made. I keep forgetting that Wikipedia is policed by self-appointed ideologues intent on re-writing history to suit their own agendas.
- It's nothing to do with ideology. It's about the simple basic rule that all content has to be cited. Wikipedia would be useless to everyone if anyone could write what they liked. If I hadn't deleted it, someone else would, based on the same rule. Were it just the formatting, I would have fixed it, as I often do. Laterthanyouthink (talk) 09:25, 12 May 2022 (UTC)
Welcome
[edit]Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia!
Someone using this IP address, 2001:44B8:4115:6B00:C159:EDA4:81C2:5382, made test edits which have been reverted or removed. If you did this, please use the sandbox for any other tests you may want to perform. If 2001:44B8:4115:6B00:C159:EDA4:81C2:5382 is a shared IP address and you did not actually do this, you may wish to consider getting a username creating a account to avoid confusion with other editors and further irrelevant notices.
Here are a few good links for newcomers:

Here are some other hints and tips:
- I recommend that you get a username. You do not have to log in to read or edit articles on Wikipedia, but creating an account is quick, free and non-intrusive, requires no personal information, and there are many benefits of having a username. (If you edit without a username, your IP address is used to identify you instead.)
- When using talk pages, please sign your name at the end of your messages by typing four tildes (~~~~). This will automatically produce your username (or IP address if not logged in) and the date.
I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, visit the Teahouse, our help forum for new users, or type {{helpme}}
here on your talk page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Again, welcome! Laterthanyouthink (talk) 06:01, 12 May 2022 (UTC)
- I have had to revert all of your edits as (apart from broken formatting), the citations didn't support the content you added in two articles, and the third one broke the WP:BLP-related rules. Please take some time to read the links above and ask at the Teahouse if you are stuck. Template:Cite web will help you with formatting, but ensure that all additions to content are from information that actually exists in the source you are citing. Thanks. This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
