Don't forget to sign in when you edit. Now that you have an account you should make your edits only when signed in so that your IP address isn't publicly recorded. Keep up the good work, King of Nothing (talk) 19:10, 9 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. I am KingQueenPrince talkcontribs. I have read your question at the Help Desk and have reviewed your recent contributions to this encyclopedia. You were right to remove the external link "* http://www.the-river-thames.co.uk/riverthames.htm Floating Down the River: River Thames and Boaty Things" from the River Thames Article. In this situation removing the entire dead link is completely appropriate. However, after you removed some of the link, User David Biddulph talkcontribs removed the rest, so no worries. You can remove the name of the link and don't worry about leaving anything like that in just in case you think you may make a mistake, as everything is saved in the Article's edit history and can be put right back in if someone removes something by mistake. Bad External Links are definitely a problem, so that was a good catch on your part. If you have any more questions, feel free to ask me directly on my talk page. Cheers Mate. With Thanks, King of Nothing (talk) 18:44, 9 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Kennet and Avon Canal

[edit]

Hi, Thanks for your edit to Kennet and Avon Canal however the reference you gave does not include anything about Prunella Scales and Timothy West. Can you give a reference to support that claim please?— Rod talk 15:36, 19 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for response. I've added 2 newspaper citations which cover it now.— Rod talk 16:18, 19 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there, I'm HasteurBot. I just wanted to let you know that Draft:Victor Anton, a page you created, has not been edited in 6 months. The Articles for Creation space is not an indefinite storage location for content that is not appropriate for articlespace.

If your submission is not edited soon, it could be nominated for deletion. If you would like to attempt to save it, you will need to improve it.

You may request Userfication of the content if it meets requirements.

If the deletion has already occured, instructions on how you may be able to retrieve it are available at WP:REFUND/G13.

Thank you for your attention. HasteurBot (talk) 01:34, 5 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Your draft article, Draft:Victor Anton

[edit]

Hello, 1stcanalman. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled "Victor Anton".

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by one of two methods (don't do both): 1) follow the instructions at WP:REFUND/G13, or 2) copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Draft:Victor Anton}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, and click "Save page". An administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. JMHamo (talk) 10:21, 23 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article Best Thames Local has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Fails WP:NORG. Strictly promotional.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
