[edit]Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. Constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, but a recent edit of yours to the page Salām-e Shāh has an edit summary that appears to be inaccurate or inappropriate. The summaries are helpful to people browsing an article's history, so it is important that you use edit summaries that accurately tell other editors what you did. Feel free to use the sandbox to make test edits. Using "lolwut"[1] as edit summary while ignoring WP:BRD. - LouisAragon (talk) 21:45, 29 July 2019 (UTC)

Pashtuns
[edit]I undid your change at Pashtuns. Part of it was fine (changes to plurals and nominative case) but unfortunately, you bundled the good changes with another one that changed the IPA pronunciations to ones that have no support. (The ones that are there now are not sourced, either, and should be changed; but not to the pronunciation you proposed. This is en-wiki, and we use English pronunciation here, not native pronunciation.) Also, just out of curiosity: why did you change Afghan to Afqan for Farsi? The standard transliteration for ghayn (غ / ـغـ ) in English is 'gh'. If you put back just the change to plurals, and nominate case, I will approve your change. ({{Ping}} me here, so I'm sure to see it.) Thanks, Mathglot (talk) 23:36, 29 July 2019 (UTC)
- @Mathglot: I put back the edit of the plurals and nominative case.
- Also the Romanization of Persian does not use grapheme 'ğ' as in Turkish or Azerbaijani for غ, which is transliterated variously as 'gh', 'ġ', 'q', etc. 'q' is used in the 2012 UN scheme since ق and غ are both pronounced [ɢ~q~ɣ] in Farsi. (But that wasn't the good edit.) — some random user (talk) 00:27, 30 July 2019 (UTC)

[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions, but in one of your recent edits to Qaumi Taranah, it appears that you have added original research, which is against Wikipedia's policies. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. Thank you. Iryna Harpy (talk) 07:24, 13 August 2019 (UTC)
