[edit]Hello, I'm DreamRimmer. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions—specifically this edit to Counterterrorism—because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Teahouse or the Help desk. Thanks. – DreamRimmer (talk) 12:55, 3 January 2024 (UTC)
Thanks for contributing to the article MI6. However, one of Wikipedia's core policies is that contributions must be verifiable through reliable sources, preferably using inline citations. Please help by adding more sources to the article you edited, and/or by clarifying how the sources already given support the claims (see here for how to do inline referencing). If you need further help, you can look at Help:Menu/Editing Wikipedia, or ask at the Teahouse, or just ask me. Thank you. Dormskirk (talk) 13:29, 3 January 2024 (UTC)
Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Literature. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively, you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant noticeboards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. soetermans. ↑↑↓↓←→←→ B A TALK 18:49, 3 January 2024 (UTC)
Please stop. If you continue to assume ownership of articles, as you did at Typing, you may be blocked from editing. Behavior such as this is regarded as disruptive, and is a violation of Wikipedia policy. Sam Sailor 11:23, 6 January 2024 (UTC)
Hello, I'm OnlyNano. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Desktop computer, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. There is no source for the usage of horizontal and vertical PCs. Also, unexplained content removal of the pizza box form factor, which is quite an important identifying term. OnlyNano 16:35, 16 January 2024 (UTC)
Your editing
[edit]Hello there, I reverted a bunch of your edits because you have added text to the lead that might not be useful. For example, at coaxial cable, you added bold text calling it a computer cable or internet cable. While coaxial cables are used as part of internet infrastructure, not all internet cables are coaxial - fiber optic is one example. Similarly, not all computer cables are coaxial. Most importantly, you did not have a source to back this up. In simple terms, it looks like you made it up.
This may seem harsh, but you have already been warned a couple times for this. When you added content to literature, it was non-constructive. You simply wrote for the sake of writing. We try to make our sentences short and to the point - there is no word count requirement here.
Please refrain from "adding content" by writing like you are padding the word count on an essay. Thank you, RetroCosmos (talk) 17:15, 5 January 2024 (UTC)
Your comment on Jews article
[edit]I responded to the comment you left on Talk: Jews#Jewish poplation is not a "wrong math" as follows; "I’m not sure what you’re trying to say. The last editor in the section above is correct that the number is ~0.2% and that's what's in the article. I’m also not sure why you’re mentioning lawyers. Making any kind of legal threat isn’t allowed on Wikipedia WP:NLT and will get you immediately banned. Since it seems English isn’t your first language I’ll assume that this wasn’t meant as a threat, but you should revert it anyway. I’ll repeat this message on your IP talk page."
