[edit]Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit you made to Pablo Hasél, did not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use the sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. There were two issues concerning your recent edits :
- Whether Hasél should be referred to as "Spanish" or "Catalan" in the lead was addressed on the talk page, the consensus being for the latter. Should be disagree with this, I suggest you bring up the subject there.
- Multiple sources use the first name Pau, these include La Vanguardia, one of Spain's highest selling newspapers. I again encourage you to start a discussion on the article's talk page should you have information supporting the exclusive use of one or the other.

- Thank you for your unsolicited and unwelcome message. Rather comical, in fact, but do refrain from sending any spurious advice.
- In any case, I don't care about whether the entry refers to him as Catalan or Spanish - I hadn't noticed that reversion, in fact - but it is slightly tendentious to refer to him exclusively as Catalan, considering that that particular detail is barely relevant to his actual notoriety (contra, say, the case of Nicola Sturgeon as Scottish). More to the point of my edit, and though I have already made this point, it is a matter of public record that Hasel's official/birth name is clearly "Pablo", and not "Pau" - the latter is simply a Catalan translation of "Pablo", and for some reason Catalan newspapers such as La Vanguardia sometimes, but not always, refer to him as "Pau". I would wager that there's an agenda in Catalan newspapers to refer to him as Pau, and it is hardly appropriate for Wikipedia to engage in it; in fact, it is simply unbelievable that someone needs to point out that it is one person's official/birth name that ought to appear in Wikipedia (and I should note that the Catalan version of the entry exhibits the same problem: many users keep having to change the name back to Pablo as well as point out that Pau is actually not Hasel's real name). But no matter, up to you to embarrass yourselves. 194.75.9.30 (talk) 22:25, 22 February 2021 (UTC)
