[edit]Hello, I'm AusLondonder. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to John Woodcock (politician) have been undone because they did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think a mistake was made, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks.

Request reason:
The alterations to John Woodcock (politician) and Jon Ashworth were not in the slightest intended to be vandalism. I have a lot of time for John Woodcock, as he sticks his neck out when his Labour colleagues would not. He is also one of those rare beasts, a patriotic Labour MP, soon to become even rarer. I think he supports the Trident (missile) nuclear weapon system. For Jon Ashworth, I am more ambivalent about him - he seems to have the same chip-on-shoulder attitude that John Prescott has. I think User:Ymblanter has excessively gone to town here, for something that was not vandalism. I was pointing out that they shared the same birthday. There are many pages on here that are routinely vandalised, but no-one seems to get blocked. I think you will also find that many of these Wikipedia administrators that go over the top are (unfortunately) arts or social sciences graduates, people with deficient senses of proportion - slightly dramatic people, given to fits of peevishness. 194.61.223.53 (talk) 13:06, 17 November 2017 (UTC)

- This seems to be a school address anyway, and I do not mind unblocking if needed (though registering an account is a far better option), but I would prefer another admin to have a look at this case. Some edits from this address are good, and some are clearly not, meaning it is likely used by many persons.--Ymblanter (talk) 13:23, 17 November 2017 (UTC)
I have not one intention of vandalising anything on here. I thank you for your remarks. It is a shared account, so I can't vouch for other people. 194.61.223.53 (talk) 13:26, 17 November 2017 (UTC)
- This seems to have been a bit of a false positive; the specific questionable edits aren't vandalism, and while this IP has been a major problem in the past, almost all of the recent editing has been fine. Registerring an account does prevent misunderstandings like this 100% of the time, and is the easier route to avoiding all of these problems, but as the blocking admin has agreed that an unblock is allowable, I will be unblocking presently. Carry on. --Jayron32 15:24, 17 November 2017 (UTC)
Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did to South East England. This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. --David Biddulph (talk) 11:09, 22 November 2017 (UTC)
You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you add unsourced material to Wikipedia, as you did at East Midlands. --David Biddulph (talk) 14:01, 22 November 2017 (UTC)

[edit]Do not use multiple IP addresses to vandalize Wikipedia. Such attempts to avoid detection or circumvent the blocking policy will not succeed. You are welcome to contribute constructively to Wikipedia but your recent edits have been reverted or removed. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Block evasion by User:Harry (singer). Binksternet (talk) 23:38, 19 February 2018 (UTC)
This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
