Information icon Hello, 180.94.87.28. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places, or things you have written about in the article Marty Schmidt, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic, and it is important when editing Wikipedia articles that such connections be completely transparent. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. In particular, we ask that you please:

  • avoid editing or creating articles related to you and your family, friends, school, company, club, or organization, as well as any competing companies' projects or products;
  • instead, you are encouraged to propose changes on the Talk pages of affected article(s) (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • when discussing affected articles, disclose your COI (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or to the website of your organization in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • exercise great caution so that you do not violate Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Please take a few moments to read and review Wikipedia's policies regarding conflicts of interest, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, sourcing and autobiographies. Thank you.Meters (talk) 03:16, 4 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

This is the only warning you will receive about ownership of articles, which you showed at Marty Schmidt. The next time you continue to disruptively edit Wikipedia, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. You were already given a level 3 warning for ownership of this article at 180.94.86.214 and the article was protected because of the dispute you were having with the other editors. Stop this. Meters (talk) 03:16, 4 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

The article is protected again, for a year this time. I have removed all of the biographical material that you and the other editors were fighting over since none of it was sourced. I will attempt to rewrite the section neutrally and with proper sources. If you have suggestions then use the article's talk page, which is what you should have done the first time. The fact that you claim to be a family member will have no bearing on what gets included in the article. We edit by consensus, and according to Wikipedia policies, not by what WP:COI editors wish to include or exclude. Meters (talk) 04:15, 4 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
