[edit]Hello, I'm Cmrc23. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person on Handré Pollard, but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now. Wikipedia has a very strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate and clear. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. The edit read a little like promotion? Sorry if I read it wrong. I suggest that if you are going to use phrases such as "widely regarded", you provide a reliable source to show that *he is* Cmrc23 ʕ•ᴥ•ʔ 10:21, 19 December 2024 (UTC)
- I added some templates where your edits were unreferenced. You can go back and check which articles you have edited by your contributions tab.
- In general, it is best to avoid phrases that imply people are saying things without quoting or referencing those claims. I hope you understand, and I am happy to answer any questions, or you can ask at the teahouse. Happy editing! Cmrc23 ʕ•ᴥ•ʔ 10:30, 19 December 2024 (UTC)
- Echoing the above. Do not add these "one of the best in the world" plaudits unless there are a wide range of reliable sources backing it up, or per WP:BLP it will be removed immediately as unsourced content. ser! (chat to me - see my edits) 10:43, 19 December 2024 (UTC)
Please do not add or change content, as you did at Morné Steyn, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Mellk (talk) 07:32, 21 December 2024 (UTC)
Please stop. If you continue to add unsourced or poorly sourced content, you may be blocked from editing. Mellk (talk) 10:37, 21 December 2024 (UTC)
