Welcome!
[edit]Hello! I noticed your contributions and wanted to welcome you to the Wikipedia community. I hope you like it here and decide to stay. You are welcome to edit anonymously; however, creating an account is free and has several benefits (for example, the ability to create pages, upload media and edit without one's IP address being visible to the public).
As you get started, you may find this short tutorial helpful:

[edit]Hi 175.141.174.152! I noticed that you have reverted to restore your preferred version of an article several times. The impulse to undo an edit you disagree with is understandable, but I wanted to make sure you're aware that the edit warring policy disallows repeated reversions even if they are justifiable.
All editors are expected to discuss content disputes on article talk pages to try to reach consensus. If you are unable to agree, please use one of the dispute resolution options to seek input from others. Using this approach instead of reverting can help you avoid getting drawn into an edit war. Thank you. Austronesier (talk) 16:24, 4 May 2022 (UTC)
- I understood and appreciate the advice given, thank you. I apologise for the unwise behaviour I did in retrospect. 175.141.174.152 (talk) 17:19, 4 May 2022 (UTC)
- If you really want to make quality contributions to Wikipedia, you shouldn't sink to the low of such petty quibbles. From your talk posts I can see that your potential goes beyond that :) And don't worry, Wikipedia has its mechanisms to counter poor chauvinist editing; sometimes it takes a while, but eventually, pages come to the attention of experienced editors who do not have an axe to grind and just care about presenting the best content based on the best sources. –Austronesier (talk) 20:05, 4 May 2022 (UTC)
This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
