Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in Kathy Konst, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. The only problem here appears to be section titles, when adding them only the first word and proper nouns begin with capital letters, and please, if a section title is already following manual of style, leave it in the correct format. Otherwise, other editors have to go back and fix them. Cmr08 (talk) 23:40, 16 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there, please ignore the opening where I welcomed you to Wikipedia as it was added automatically with the template. Considering you are not new to Wikipedia and have done lots of good work, it sounds like I'm insulting you, which couldn't be further from the truth. Information icon Please do not use styles that are unusual, inappropriate or difficult to understand in articles, as you did in Minoa, New York. There is a Manual of Style, and edits should not deliberately go against it without special reason. Thank you. Cmr08 (talk) 02:58, 20 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to use disruptive, inappropriate or hard-to-read formatting, as you did at Sauble Beach, Ontario, you may be blocked from editing. There is a Wikipedia Manual of Style, and edits should not deliberately go against it without special reason. Cmr08 (talk) 02:28, 23 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Cornwall, Connecticut may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "()"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:
  • 16517] Website of the Academy of American Poets, Web page titled "The Hills of Little Cornwall"<accessed November 21, 2006</ref>
  • *([[Major Andre Andrews]], former Mayor of [[Buffalo, New York]]

Notables MUST have sources

[edit]

Your recent edit to the article for Secaucus, New Jersey added an entry for Bryan Haczyk as a notable resident. Please understand that Wikipedia policy on lists of notables specifies that notables in such lists must have articles, which must be accompanied by reliable and verifiable sources. Presumably you had some book, magazine or newspaper article that indicated that Haczyk had lived in Secaucus; Just add that source to the article using the other sources as models. Wikipedia material must be sourced in general and any material you add in future edits needs to be accompanied by reliable and verifiable sources. Please feel free to contact me on my talk page with any questions. Alansohn (talk) 04:10, 20 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Cap style

[edit]

Thanks for adding all those notables. Please note that the capitalization style for headings is: Notable people--not Notable People. Regards, Pinethicket (talk) 20:55, 25 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
