Hi there, I thought I should let you know that I undid your edit to the Winter War article because your change isn't in compliance with that section's hidden note. The hidden note isn't visible when reading the article but when it's being edited, it can be seen in the editing window. The relevant part of it reads:

The following sentence has been formulated during a debate that took almost a year between 2014 and 2015 (see talk). The article has been promoted to [Featured Article status] since and the paragraph copyedited. Please discuss before substantial amendments.

That's right before the sentence in question, which reads, in plain text:

Most sources conclude that the Soviet Union had intended to conquer all of Finland, and use the establishment of the puppet Finnish Communist government and the Molotov–Ribbentrop Pact's secret protocols as evidence of this, while other sources argue against the idea of a full Soviet conquest.

To be clear: while the phrase "puppet Finnish Communist government" certainly is contentious, there's no way you're going to be able to remove it without first starting a discussion on the talk page for the Winter War article. CityOfSilver 04:52, 5 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
