Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, adding content without citing a reliable source, as you did with this edit to Millom railway station, is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you are familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources, please take this opportunity to add references to the article. DVdm (talk) 11:25, 12 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, you made two similar edits. Please see, for instance this. If you like to change this kind of information, it would be good to find some reliable sources. As an example I have added the source for Millom - see this edit. Cheers - DVdm (talk) 11:31, 12 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Excessive Citations

[edit]

You do not and should not add so many citations for one small segment as you are doing for a number of articles, please limit this to one that is relevant to the person. Arzel (talk) 20:20, 27 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome

[edit]

Hello, 128.135.100.102, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of your edits to the page Privy Council of the United Kingdom have not conformed to Wikipedia's verifiability policy, and may be removed if they have not yet been. Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations that have been stated in print or on reputable websites or other forms of media. Always remember to provide a reliable source for quotations and for any material that is likely to be challenged, or it may be removed. Wikipedia also has a related policy against including original research in articles. As well, all new biographies of living people must contain at least one reliable source.

If you are stuck and looking for help, please see the guide for citing sources or come to the new contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}} on your user page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome!  Mesoderm (talk) 05:47, 30 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, but when you add or change content, as you did to the article Love padlocks, please cite a reliable source for the content of your edit. This helps maintain our policy of verifiability. See Wikipedia:Citing sources for how to cite sources, and the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. This is your last warning; the next time you harm Wikipedia, as you did at Vostok 1 with this edit, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Hello 128.135.100.102. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled "Burghardt Wittig".

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Burghardt Wittig}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, click "Save page", and an administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.
