[edit]Hello, I'm Jim1138. I noticed that in this edit to Talk:Jannat Zubair Rahmani, you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Jim1138 (talk) 10:46, 25 June 2018 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, discussion pages are meant to be a record of a discussion; deleting or editing legitimate comments, as you did at Talk:Jannat Zubair Rahmani, is considered bad practice, even if you meant well. Even making spelling and grammatical corrections in others' comments is generally frowned upon, as it tends to irritate the users whose comments you are correcting. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Jim1138 (talk) 10:48, 25 June 2018 (UTC)

The gist of the above
[edit]...is: don't remove other's legitimate talk as you were doing on talk:Jannat Zubair Rahmani. Feel free to add a new thread, but don't take other's out. See help:talk pages and wp:talk page guidelines Cheers Jim1138 (talk) 10:59, 25 June 2018 (UTC)
This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
