Information icon Hello, I'm Rdp060707. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions—specifically this edit to Steve Roach (rugby league)—because it did not appear constructive. Hi Rdp060707 the edit you're talking about I never actually did that edit. I didn't start editing to this month.

Parramatta Eels[edit]

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you vandalize Wikipedia, as you did with Parramatta Eels. Sully198787 (talk) 19:10, 18 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

The information you kept trying to add on the Parramatta Eels page is already available on other Wikipedia pages and it is already mentioned in the article itself. I believe the reason you were trying to add the information was to be malicious and make the 14 Wooden Spoons thing the main text of what people see if they read the page. You are clearly not a fan of the club or have any good contributions to add to the page and you just want to highlight the wooden spoons as a way to drag the club and page down. You have also vandalised other pages not just the Parramatta one so I believe the block is warranted.Sully198787 (talk) 07:55, 19 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I have read all of what you have wrote on the talk page. I do issue warnings to all Wikipedia vandals, not just for this incident. However, it is not my decision on who should be or who should not be blocked, I wasn't involved in the decision making process for that.

As I have said before, the information about Parramatta's history and wooden spoons is already detailed on the page if you read it. It doesn't have to be added again and again. I also have reason to believe that either you or someone else keeps adding edits such as "Parramatta are the most losing team in the NRL" or "Parramatta currently have the most spoons of any team" in the main text using an anonymous IP Address. Request reason:

Your reason here Hi,

The editor on wikipedia known as Sully198787 reported me for vandalism on the Parramatta Eels wikipedia page. For two weeks I have been editing adding the information relating to Parramatta Eels wooden spoon wins and years. Sully198787 has constantly removed and concealed the relevant information. He claims this is "vandalism" , "disruptive editing" and "unsourced and poorly sourced content". He is a support of the football club that I have been adding the achievements to and constantly conceals the information. Every other football club within the National Rugby League has a list of the years and amount of times they have won the wooden spoon except the Parramatta Eels. I have been trying to make that information available on the Parramatta Eels wikipedia page but Sully198787 keeps removing the information and blocking me. The information is freely available on other pages of wikipedia except the clubs page. He is constantly concealing information and doing anything possible to keep that information concealed. If he truely wanted to have proper sourced information on the page why doesn't he do it himself instead of constantly removing it ? The information I contributed to the Parramatta Eels Wooden Spoon years and number of times the wooden spoon has been won was all true.

WP:GAB explains how to craft a reasonable unblock request. Talk about your actions, not those of other editors. Only your actions, which were inappropriate, are relevant here. Making personal attacks on other editors shows your block is appropriate or should be extended. Yamla (talk) 10:14, 23 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,

I was going to commit to adding sources I was using my mobile phone at the time obviously it's not as easy to cite a source on a mobile device than it is on a computer. I added the years and information there planning to make it proper later it was just a reference for me to remember which years to source. I don't understand how I can be blocked for writing accurate information which I was planning to source and nothing has been done to the user Sully198787 for blatantly lying saying saying that I vandalized the page. Look at his response. " The information you kept trying to add on the Parramatta Eels page is already available on other Wikipedia pages and it is already mentioned in the article itself. I believe the reason you were trying to add the information was to be malicious and make the 14 Wooden Spoons thing the main text of what people see if they read the page. He has the power to source the the information properly on the page rather than just simply delete it. He has previously edited other people's mistakes in regards to sourcing yet instead of correcting my errors he just decided to straight up delete the information. He claims I am being "malicious" by adding this information to the page. If it so malicious why has he accepted letting other wikipedia pages have clubs display this information displayed the exact same way I was trying to on the only club in the ENTIRE competition that does not have this information displayed. He stated the information is already available which is true I even stated that in my previous block request. The difference is he is purposely concealing this information for his own agenda. The way the information is available is by scrolling down to the page and looking at the clubs history through using other sources. This is also available with other clubs. The only difference is once you search for any of these clubs on wikipedia all you have to do is scroll down to the clubs achievements which is underneath all the clubs current information right underneath the logo of the club you will see this information. On the clubs page that sully198787 keeps deleting this information is not there. How is that fair to the other 15 clubs ? Also it is not so easily available to see for someone who is using wikipedia for the first time yet all the other 15 clubs it is easily displayed. He is constantly trying to put me in the wrong make it sound as if what I am trying to do is damage the club when I'm not. In a total of 16 clubs only 1 doesn't have this information displayed in the format that the other 15 clubs do. Why doesn't he being an editor correct this information instead of constantly deleting it and reporting me in order to prevent this information from being as easily accessible? I did it more than 5 times and every single time he just deleted the information instead of correcting it. When other people have added information on wikipedia in the wrong way instead of deleting it he corrected it. Why won't he do it for this page ? Why didn't he report all those other users instead of correcting their errors. What kind of editor dos this? Sully198787 activity should be reviewed by other admins. He is clearly a fan of this club and instead of highlighting the success and downfalls of this club he has chosen to conceal whatever he determines to be "malicious" or "dragging the club down". That is a conflict of interest. A review of his contact should be warranted.

Request reason:

your reason User:Yamla I don't see how you can go make a claim about me attacking other editors whilst ignoring User:Sully198787 comments about me stating I was "malicious". You state I should be talking about the actions I did yeah if you look at the reference Ivan Cleary I edited it then deleted my edit myself. I'm not going to do things like that again. The edit was there for less than 2minutes until I decided to remove it. User:Sully198787 then went and reported me for disruptive editing you're saying what I was blocked for isn't relevant to my previous block request the matter of the fact it is. everything I stated in my previous block request is the entire reason I was blocked. Look at the history of the edits on Parramatta Eels it clearly displays User:Sully198787 constantly removing my edits which aren't "damaging" or "malicious" at all only in the eyes of the said editor. Vandalism defined by https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Wikipedia:Vandalism is "On Wikipedia, vandalism has a very specific meaning: editing (or other behavior) deliberately intended to obstruct or defeat the project's purpose, which is to create a free encyclopedia, in a variety of languages, presenting the sum of all human knowledge." I created free true information I just didn't source the links as it was too hard to on a mobile phone. The very offence of vandalism is what User:Sully198787 has done by constantly removing the free information instead of, editing with sources to better the wiki encyclopedia and making outrageous allegations I'm being malicious. When all I did was edit the format on Parramatta Eels the exact same way all the other 15/16 clubs within the National Rugby League are set out. I clicked on the editors page and the top club he supports is the very club I was making the edit on which supports my statements. All I did was structure Parramatta Eels the exact same was the other 15 clubs in the National Rugby League are structured with the same format and same information I don't see how that's vandalism when the club with the format not the same is the very one I was trying to edit. 15/16 wikipedia pages linked to the clubs are all structured in the exact same way. It's not free information when an editor supporting the club removes information he doesn't want to be disclosed. By me trying to display this information the exact same way all the others are displayed somehow establishes vandalism by the said user and going as far as making outragous claims I'm just trying to damage the club I'm not. All I did was try to make it exactly the same as the other 15. Instead of editing the information based on fact that I provided he CLEARLY continues to conceal it then makes as you say "a personal attack" on me by using the reason for banning me as vandalism and malicious. If me stating the facts supports my unblock being denied and as you claim "extended" than what does that say about User:Sully198787 in reference to the below comments.

I know how to source the information properly now so it won't be "unconstructive", "poorly sourced" or "disruptive editing" The vandalism wasn't vandalism as it was the exact same thing I was doing when told to "Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at: Parramatta Eels." which I then proceeded to again and was told The information you kept trying to add on the Parramatta Eels page is already available on other Wikipedia pages and it is already mentioned in the article itself.
