[edit]Hi there, you're feedback has been reviewed on the article YouTube. I think I can help you. The YouTube application on your iPad probably came along with it when it was bought. However, Apple decided to remove the YouTube application following their latest software release, 6.0. What your grandson probably did was update the firmware on the iPad, which gives you new features too! You can download another YouTube application from the App Store. Alternatively, you can visit http://www.youtube.com in Safari. For a full list of features that comes with the new update, see http://www.apple.com/ios/. I hope this helps!
