User talk:10 December 2017
January 2018
[edit] You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Selsey. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.
Please be particularly aware that Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:
- Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made.
- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing.
Please put forward your reasons for wanting the climate for Selsey on the article talk page. I haven't currently got time to look at this properly but the edit warring has to stop. You may need to refer to UK Settlements project policies etc and to indicate the quality of your references ... the source you have cited seems to be password protected and was not working well for me which is not helping my support, nor have I currently got time going round the other(s) who are deleting your content. Thankyou.Djm-leighpark (talk) 21:58, 17 January 2018 (UTC)
Dispute resolution Climate Weather Box
[edit]Dear Wikipedian,
Given the lack of consensus on the inclusion of a weather box for the Selsey article talk page, I have requested a dispute resolution.

Making changes in pages. A intro to Wikipedia.
[edit]@10 December 2017: you must reach a consensus before making prior edits in the aspect of an old page if someone else is watching it (not in the case to add new information but yes to delete or change actual information without adding sources). You must understand that because it's how Wikipedia works. I've been checking other pages and in this case I agree with you as well for the mean temps in Almería and Málaga so we can put your version but for further occasions, take account that you can't just start an edit war and you must wait for a 3rd party or wait few days for a resollution. I say this for the Selsey climate thing you're involved right now, you must know how Wikipedia works before making edit wars. They can block your account if you do edit wars or break the 3RR rule. Not in this case with me, I just say it to let you know some basics as I see you're pretty new here. Regards! --TechnicianGB (talk) 04:15, 22 January 2018 (UTC)
