Welcome!
[edit]Hello! I noticed your contributions and wanted to welcome you to the Wikipedia community. I hope you like it here and decide to stay. You are welcome to edit anonymously; however, creating an account is free and has several benefits (for example, the ability to create pages, upload media and edit without one's IP address being visible to the public).

Ref format
[edit]Hello, thanks very much for your edits to Beth Littleford. However, your reference format isn't quite ideal, as summed up in these edits of mine. I think it's better style to use {{cite news}} rather than {{cite web}} for news articles, but there's no practical difference these days (but see my link below for documentation). We don't use the publisher when the work is already given. Also we use US date formats in American articles like this one. Graham87 05:30, 23 July 2023 (UTC)
- When using access date I just click on the little button to the side, and it gives me the date. I do not enter it on my own. I then copy the format for the article date. When I have done differently I have received errors. 108.52.238.12 (talk) 06:13, 23 July 2023 (UTC)
- Ah yeah OK, that automated tool does that sort of thing (it's been a problem for many years). Maybe it'd be easier if I just left your edits alone until I know you're finished with the page. Graham87 14:32, 23 July 2023 (UTC)
- I will be aware of following the date formats on pages. Thanks for the response. 108.52.238.12 (talk) 16:17, 23 July 2023 (UTC)

This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
