The article says she won the prestigious Walter Cronkhite Award, generally given to people with much bigger careers than hers. Accordingly, it links to the page for that award, which doesn't list her as a winner, in the year cited (2017) or any other year.
Presumably, she won some other award named after Cronkhite instead.
