[edit]Hello, I'm LizardJr8. I noticed that in this edit to James P. Hoffa, you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. LizardJr8 (talk) 01:19, 2 December 2022 (UTC)
- The content in question "old-guard" is an inaccurate description of the Vairma slate. O'Brien and many members of his slate were in fact members of Hoffa's slate while running for office in the 2021 election. Since both slates had current members of Hoffa's executive board during the election, describing one as "old-guard" or "reform" is inaccurate and deceptive. Whomever added that paragraph on the election was partisan to the O'Brien slate. Additionally, adding O'Brien's action of terminating more than 80 staff members on March 22 is both factual and topical. 108.48.170.233 (talk) 01:32, 2 December 2022 (UTC)
