Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions, such as the ones you made to Richard Kind. I hope you like the place and decide to stay.

You don't have to log in to read or edit articles on Wikipedia, but if you wish to acquire additional privileges, you can simply create a named account. It's free, requires no personal information, and lets you:

Note that in order for the first three features to be available, you must have had an account for a minimum number of days and made a minimum number of edits.

If you edit without using a named account, your IP address (108.4.68.21) is used to identify you instead.

I hope that you, as a Wikipedian, decide to continue contributing to our project: an encyclopedia of human knowledge that anyone can edit. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, or you can click here to ask for help on your talk page, and a volunteer should respond shortly. Hello, and thank you for your recent contribution. I appreciate the effort you made for our project, but unfortunately I had to undo your edit because I believe the article was better before you made that change. Feel free to contact me directly if you have any questions. Thank you! Thanks, Thatoneweirdwikier Say hi 09:53, 11 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm TJRC. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, David Byrne, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. This is referring to the Awards section you added. Neither IMDB nor IBDB is a reliable source. That being said, this otherwise wold be a fine addition to the article, so if you have any valid sources, feel free to put the section back, with those sources. Also, please footnote for each entry, if you can. With multiple entries and more than one source, it makes verification difficult without that specificity.

Thanks for contributing! TJRC (talk) 18:57, 1 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.
Nice update here! It still cites only IMDB for the BAFTA, but I'll nose around and see if I can find something better. if not, I won't delete, I'll just tag asking for a better source and hopefully someone else can find one. TJRC (talk) 01:49, 2 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Found it at the BAFTA site and updated accordingly. Note that it was only a nomination, not a win; I think the similar name of the winner -- Empire of the Sun -- may have thrown you.
Hey, your edits are generally of very high quality. How is it that you don't have an account? We need more good editors, and if you have an account, other editors get used to seeing your handle. Often IP editors edit Wikipedia only to vandalize, so we look a lot harder at those.
That being said, an account is not required if you don't want one. Either way, please keep up the nice work. TJRC (talk) 02:20, 2 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
