I assume you are familiar with WP:HUMAN, but maybe you aren't familiar with the privacy advantages that come with not having a 15 year edit history. I live in a very socially conservative place. It beggars credulity that you don't already have one. Just saying. And you're more anonymous to your neighbors and everybody else when you use an account.
