Request reason:

I wasn't aware that edit warring was a blockable offense, I will stop vandalizing/edit warring if unblocked. I want to contribute in any way possible, even if it's just grammar/spelling checks. 104.218.67.129 (talk) 02:19, 26 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

You will need to describe how you will handle similar editing disputes in the future- and address why you continued the same activity after a shorter block. 331dot (talk) 09:50, 26 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Follow up to previous denied request. In the future for editing disputes I will look at the reasoning behind why it was changed/reverted etc and put a message to the user that changed/reverted talk page if I still don't understand why it was reverted/changed. And possibly just leave it be. As far as the reckless editing, I need to look at a guide or something on how to use sandbox, the code is a little confusing, however it is not an excuse for my vandalizing edits. Is there a guide on how to use the sandbox page somewhere? I could use that. 104.218.67.129 (talk) 19:42, 29 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

This block is useful because it is stopping you from vandalizing our articles. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 14:24, 30 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

IP block for edit warring. I will refrain from doing this in the future and will constructively dispute edits if needed. (or let them just be reverted) 104.218.67.129 (talk) 01:31, 13 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

Even if we set aside the edit warring, it appears that all of your edits thus far have been vandalism. I see no reason to lift the block early. signed, Rosguill talk 19:56, 13 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you, I was deleting the past ones, wasn't intending to delete THIS one.

Hello u/TobBeFree

[edit]

user:ToBeFree I noticed you blocked my IP for a month for edit warring, I'd like a chance to correct this behavior before being blocked for that long of a time.

Information icon Hello, I'm Denisarona. I noticed that you recently removed content from The Prince of Egypt without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you remove or blank page content or templates from Wikipedia, as you did at The Prince of Egypt. Techie007 (talk) 14:21, 3 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

User:Techie007 My IP is now blocked and I can't make an account.

That's by design. OhNoitsJamie Talk 18:30, 4 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I understand that, I'd like to be able to edit should I find something useful *to* contribute.

Long break

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 6 months for abuse of editing privileges. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.

I think 6 months is a bit uncalled for. I can make useful contributions. Additionally, please explain the reason for the block. I have not "abused editing privileges" 104.218.67.129 (talk) 17:38, 4 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

You've made exactly zero useful edits, and plenty of disruptive ones. Your edit history is rather unambiguous. OhNoitsJamie Talk 17:43, 4 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I can make useful edits if I see an article that needs it. I haven't seen one yet. 104.218.67.129 (talk) 18:17, 4 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Additionally, why does the notice above say that the IP is blocked for six months, when the editing notice says differently? "Start of block: 20:04, 4 November 2020 Expiration of longest block: no expiry set Relevant block IDs: #10162742, #10162804" Current user of 104.218.67.129 (talk) 20:06, 4 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

This is normal when you are indefinitely blocked, then log out and try to edit from the same machine. SQLQuery me! 00:44, 5 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

What you need to do is (1) convince us that you have the required competency to edit Wikipedia or (2) wait 6 months. You have yet to do anything to address the first point. OhNoitsJamie Talk 21:36, 5 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
