Geert Wilders article
[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed content from Geert Wilders. When removing content, please specify a reason in the edit summary and discuss edits that are likely to be controversial on the article's talk page. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the content has been restored, as you can see from the page history. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Princes Flag article
[edit]You removed content from this article with your only motivation being that similar content was removed from the Dutch Wikipeida. Obviously that's not a good reason to remove the content here. The content in the English Wikipedia is written without any political bias, is completely factual and referenced, and is relevant as it illustrates current day usage and controversies around this historical flag. Please don't remove this content again without a discussion on the (English) talk page of this article. Whaledad (talk) 19:42, 29 May 2011 (UTC)
- I removed it for the same reasons as at the Dutch Wikipedia, where this discussion was already carried on, also with you. You want to do the exact same discussion over, here on the English Wikipedia? I don't think that's necessary. 101 Luftballons (talk) 21:39, 29 May 2011 (UTC)
- On the Dutch Wikipedia the incident is subject of an edit war, which had led to the third page block in a row. So, you can't say that there was any kind of conclusion on the Dutch Wikipedia. Also: I did not partake in any of the editing nor in the discussion on it on the Dutch Wikipedia. Neither did you, unless 101 Luftballons is just a convenient sock puppet. Please stop removing this without proper discussion on the English Wikipedia, in English, on the relevant talk page. Whaledad (talk) 00:53, 30 May 2011 (UTC)
- Stop adding it without discussion! 101 Luftballons (talk) 23:32, 30 May 2011 (UTC)
- Whaledad, is there any factual basis for you accusing 101 Luftballons of being a sock puppet or is it just a lack of substantial arguments for your case? It would not be the first time you attack the person behind the edits when you disapprove of the edits. Perhaps it would be better if you attempt to show, based on the available literature on the Prince's Flag, relevance for inclusion of these "facts" in the encyclopaedic article. Without such basis for inclusion I suggest you leave it out for the time being. --Kalsermar (talk) 23:53, 30 May 2011 (UTC)
- Mr. Kalsermar, please read my comments, I did (at that time) not accuse 101 Luftballons of being a sock puppet (although I did have my suspicions). I did accuse him of such today, and was proven right, and his (additional) accounts have now been blocked. Happy? BTW: I know you're not his sock puppet, but it is surprising how you always come to the rescue (on worldwide Wiki's) whenever he gets in trouble. You guys have excellent off-wiki communication going on. (Camera anyone?) W\|/haledad (Talk to me) 02:54, 9 January 2012 (UTC)
