Fundraising question at ANI
[edit](edit conflict with the above section) Hi, IP 1.157, I've removed the question you posted at ANI. ANI, like every other page on wiki.riteme.site, is run by the volunteer editors, not the WMF organization you're talking about. There's no place on enwiki to ask your question, since your question is addressed to the WMF itself; enwiki does not control fundraising decisions. You're more likely looking for somewhere on wikimediafoundation.org or foundation.wikimedia.org, though I doubt there's much you can do with your question there, either. [edit]Hello, I'm Rdp060707. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Jal Mahal, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. ----Rdp060707|talk 08:48, 23 July 2021 (UTC)
Well why didn't you delete the mention of "Octopussy" then? That wasn't sourced either. I don't see why a film appearance needs a source other than the film itself. Surely primary sources are allowed in such cases? If not, that seems extremely silly. Then again, "in popular culture" sections aren't really suitable for an encyclopaedia IMHO, so it's not really a big deal. Anyway, thanks for actually leaving a message on my talk page, a lot of older Wikipedians aren't anywhere near as welcoming to new users. 1.157.95.133 (talk) 08:57, 23 July 2021 (UTC)
